Description
High elevation grown Yunnan Tea from Feng Qing. Use a generous amount and steep 2 -3 minutes at 200 – 212°
$13.00 – $130.00
If one could judge a Tea by its’ cover, the way it looks tonight per Mr. Sinatra, then look no further. Unfortunately, some of the best Teas in the world are rather inauspicious in the ‘looks’ department. Thankfully, this one delivers on both counts. It is a handsome Tea to look at and an even better tea to drink. I am always amazed how we can have such a delicate thing as whole leaf Tea, after so much handling from afar, arrive in our shop in such great condition.

This is the tea I use to introduce people to the idea of more specific teas than the general white, red, green, black.
The carmelization produced from the processing of panyang golden needle gives this tea a subtle sweetness under its complex dark, yet familiar flavor. It serves well hot or cold, but is better hot. About the only thing you can screw up is steeping it too long.
