This is the tea that was most often served to my family when we lived in China. The long, green lose leaves steeping in deep and narrow bone china cups with steeping lids. This was the tea we drank while visiting the Huang Shan area and attempting to climb the ten thousand stairs to the various legendary peaks and vistas of the that legendary sacred mountain. This is the tea that the guides, hotel clerks, college students, and bus drivers poured into our thermoses at every stop. Every Meal, Every Conversation. This was the tea that the locals told was was blessed by Heaven due to it’s growing so close to such a sacred place.
This was the tea my dad asked for when he visited Tacoma.
    Of course Tobin had it.
