Black Tea

Black Tea has been dealt a huge disservice thanks to Mother England and Sir James Lipton. For over 3 centuries the West has been spoon-fed an overflowing cup of innocuous product that does as much for Black Tea as Cook’s has done for the world of Champagne. Yes, there is more to Black Tea than what you find on the supermarket shelves or in your cup or glass at most restaurants. Yes, Indian and Sri Lanka teas are reminiscent of those brews but when chosen with care the similarities end quickly.
